Thank Heaven for Little Girls

I was able to make an easy peasy skirt for a friend of mine's little girl.  I am now on a kick.  It came out so darn cute, and my friend Allie is quite talented with bows (she's going to be at the craft fair in September as well) made a matching bow.  I have to get her to have her daughter model the skirt, because I can't believe how adorable it is.  She picked out this fabric that has cupcakes all over it, perfect!  I'm thinking I will whip up a bunch for the fair, it went very quickly on such a small scale! I'm currently working on one for a slightly older little girl to see how the proportions come out, and maybe I can convince allie to make a matching hair bow for it tomorrow :).....stay tuned for photos.

In other news, am I the only un-American person that doesn't really care all that much about the Olympics?  I like winter way better than summer....and the only sports I wanted to watch was table tennis and synchronized swimming and they are on at such weird hours...anyway... Happy Olympics to whoever is watching!
