Well today was my dad's bday...Happy B-day to him...unfortunately we aren't able to make it back up to NJ till this weekend.
Anyway...didn't get a chance to sew today, but I bought the fabric for my sister's project yesterday at Joann....I think I'm in love with that store. It was cheap too with my coupons!
Well I thought I'd upload a few photos of the few projects I completed that I never blogged about.
This first one is of the bags I made the bridesmaids....I never took a completed picture! I'm so mad because they came out super cute...I had a different fancy button for each girl.
There is my dear husband posing in the vest and shirt ... with a hood (that I had to figure out how to add and adjust to a pattern....when I never had sew from a pattern before)! I think it came out spiffy for my first go around with a pattern....I already realized things I can do better and faster and all sorts of things, I also got dear hubby to get me an eyelet maker because the pattern called for it...a win for me...it was at least a good learning experience. I will have to find out what pattern # I used and put it on here....it actually wasn't that hard and there were a lot of cool looking variations.
Here's me in the cape I made that had a hood and I lined it with fabric that matched my costume, and apple juice ;) ....I plan to sew myself a costume like I am wearing for next year's renn fest.....lets see if I can make that happen.....
There is us...yes that's me I chopped off and dyed my hair...this is at Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween party in Magic Kingdom....for our honeymoon :)
Alright I'm exhausted....Goodnight!
